PROFESSIONAL DOCUMENTARY VIDEOS AND MULTIMEDIA SHOWS

A simple slide show put to music. Weddings are a time of joy, celebration, gathering, and fun. Photos were shot by Tom and Alison Taylor with the music provided by the Klez Bros, a group of wonderful Jewish Klezmer musicians. Much can be told through images put to music.

A short clip introducing Steve McCurdy’s full length travel documentary, “My Private Italy.” Seeing this film creates an intense desire to go to Italy, but seeing through Steve’s eyes is the next best thing. This film is full of stunning images, but also enjoy the sounds, the voices; you can almost smell and taste the spaghetti. The film starts with archives of family film shot years ago.

One of Steve McCurdy’s assignments took him to India. This short clip called, “The River” takes you on a short journey down one of the most historic and picturesque rivers on earth.

This video clip is an excerpt from a one hour documentary about a family and the farm where they grew up. It is loaded with wonderful stories from interviews, historic photos and newly captured images from the farm in recent years.

This video clip is excerpted from a one hour documentary about a family as seen through the eyes of an admiring Aunt. The film was created from numerous interviews, historic photos and 8mm film, all tied together through narration created as if the family’s colorful Aunt were telling the story.

The following video clip is excerpted from a video composed of historic 8mm and 16mm films narrated by the daughter as she remembers her mother, father, and the years growing up.

Many wedding and special occasion “slideshows” have music and photographs. Voice narration adds emotion and powerful new dimensions. The following segment excerpts a few verbal comments from a video slideshow, which demonstrate the power of simple spoken words. Whatever the occasion or purpose, adding verbal comments to pictures and music adds depth and power to the message being communicated.
