Book Highlight: A Children's Book Tells a Family Pioneer Story

April 26, 2017 Alison Taylor
A charming children's book of a family pioneer story, written and illustrated by a talented member of the family.

What a great gift to give the children in your family--a story book that tells a story about their own ancestors! Sisters LaRean and Pamela teamed up to write the narrative, and Pam painted the charming illustrations. We helped them edit the narrative and put the story and illustrations together into book form. Pam is now working on her second book. We can't wait to see it!

An introduction features a photo of the children who heard the story at the feet of their grandfather, whom they called "Jampa."

This painting of "Jampa" as a little boy with his father is used on the cover as well.
