How do I make my ancestors come alive?

Ever since I was a child, I wondered—what happened to Ethel Coe? My great-grandmother’s cousin was an enigma in our family. A single letter from 1902, alluding to a family scandal, sparked my obsession to find Ethel and solve the mystery. Join me on a fascinating journey as I put together the pieces of her life and write her story. Along the way, you’ll learn some techniques for making your own ancestors come to life. (Although RootsTech didn’t video record this year’s presentation, we recorded the audio and put them together with the presentation slides on the Pictures and Stories You Tube channel.)
